MWS NSW Careers Masterclass 2025
The Medical Women’s Society of New South Wales held its annual Careers Masterclass on the 4th June 2025. We had three incredible guest speakers – Dr Sharon Tivey (Senior Staff Specialist Anaesthetist who has previously worked as an ANZCA examiner), A/Prof Deb Colville (Senior Ophthalmologist who has worked on selection panels for advanced training in Ophthalmology) and Medical Careers Coach Anita Fletcher (Founder of Standout Medical Careers, an advice-based medical specialist consulting practice).
We were very fortunate to have two lucky door prizes on the night including an ‘Interview preparation session’ kindly donated by Standout Medical Careers Coach, Anita Fletcher, and a professional headshot session kindly donated by Simona Janek.
The Masterclass provided practical and experienced advice for medical women to make their CV stand out as well as helpful hints and tips for the interview.
We look forward to hosting this event again in the future.
